It’s just you and me

THERE ARE THOUSANDS of would-be ghostwriters out there, and hundreds of hacks who are actually doing it.

There are dozens of pretty competent professionals, and a handful – mostly my colleagues in the elite London-based United Ghostwriters group – who are very good indeed.

But for a certain sort of book, I am the writer you want.

I’m a real author, with a reputation of my own.

I run senior-level business writing courses for top firms and deliver my notorious Right for Your Reader lectures every year to Masters degree students in creative writing at Cambridge University.

My own work

My own work has included a life of JFK, written for Andre Deutsch, and Amazon’s best-selling conspiracies paperback, published by John Blake.

I’ve also written books about management, NLP, internet businesses, telecoms, treasure hunting and the late, great Douglas Adams, of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fame.

My latest hardback is about the ‘secret life’ of the Australian writer, poet and TV personality Clive James, who has written the lyrics to more than 200 songs over 50 years.

Loose Canon has a wonderful, enthusiastic foreword by Stephen Fry, who loves the book and describes Clive’s songs as ‘Funny, sad, beautiful, true.’
